Forever In Search Of Yesterday -- Cove Springs, Arkansas
"All water has a perfect memory and is forever trying to get back to where it was."
-- Toni Morrison

Cove Springs is very remote, accessible only by a very rugged and rocky dirt road in the wilds of the Buffalo National River in northwestern Arkansas. The lush drapery of ferns and moss that you see covering the rock wall is where the spring constantly seeps down across the rock face and into Cove Creek, which empties into the Buffalo River not far downstream from here. The water is icy cold, very clear, and has a slight bluish cast to it.
